During ministry school, I had the privilege of helping in the early stages of getting Jesus For Every Soul Ministries started as part of a class project. During that time, I met Miss Arit, whose passion for Jesus and commitment to reaching lost souls in our community deeply inspired me. I have often referred to her as a missionary to the United States, as her ministry faithfully takes the gospel to the streets of our towns. Tim & Lisa Mahan

Spirit Life Ministries

Tim and Lisa Mahan are the co-founders of Spirit Life Ministries and have been ministering together since 2009. They graduated from Ministry School in 2014, where Spirit Life Ministries was born. Although I did not attend Charis Bible College at the same time as Tim and Lisa, their ministry is one I believe is deeply needed in the times we are living in today. While many churches faithfully support missionaries overseas — and they should — there is a growing need for strong local outreach. Every church should carry a vision for reaching its own community, remembering that the Gospel is meant for both the nations and the neighbor next door. Spirit Life Ministries helps meet that need. Each month, they gather believers to go into the streets, share the Gospel, and equip churches through evangelism workshops, prayer ministry coordination, Bible studies, and hands-on ministry training. Grace Place Restoration Center

I met Maria in ministry school, where I watched her and our classmates establish Grace Place Restoration Center as part of a school project. Through this, I came to understand her deep compassion for women who have had or are considering abortion, as these experiences often leave lasting wounds for both women and men. Rise Up Ministries

I met Seth in ministry school, where I saw firsthand his heart to create a safe place that brings healing, restoration, and hope to those who have been abused and victimized through human trafficking. As part of a school project, Seth—along with help from several classmates—laid the foundation for this ministry, and since graduating, he has continued to build and establish this work beyond the classroom. Criss and Brad Roberts

Criss Roberts’ Ministry

I met Criss in ministry school while we were practicing street evangelism, and it was there that I began to see her heart for sharing the love God has for every person. During her time in school, she built a strong foundation in the Word that later led her to found and establish Criss Roberts’ Ministry. Through her ministry, she dives deep into Scripture to bring clarity, truth, and healing to those who are seeking. A central part of her work is Healing School, where she partners with churches by presenting Healing School services, training prayer ministers, and helping congregations establish and grow their own healing ministry.

Torben & Phoenix Brandt

Berets of Light

I met Torben and Phoenix at Bible College, where I pursued the Ministry Track, and they were in the Global Training Track. It was during this time they fell in love and later got married. Currently, they’re in Kenya with GoToNations as missionaries in training, developing the skills they need to embark on their mission work independently as a ministry to raise & empower men. Global Seeds Of Hope

I’ve known Jennifer since she was a little girl, and I’ve known Joel for a few years now. Joel has always carried a deep passion for the children in his hometown in Uganda, and together, he and Jennifer are now in Uganda, building the first five classrooms of a new school. The community’s excitement and interest have been so overwhelming that it’s clear five classrooms won’t be enough to meet the growing needs. I met Dana and Sheryl during my first year in Bible college. From the beginning, we became friends, and that friendship continued to grow through all three years we were in school together. During that time, I came to know the deep passion they both have for the Lord. After graduation, I admired their determination to step out and plant a church in Colorado Springs. Pastor Sheryl’s heart to teach the balance of grace and faith is evident in the messages she shares—messages that are enlightening, inspiring, and draw us closer to God. Their lives and ministry reflect a genuine love for God and for the people they serve.

Scott Silverberg

L.I.F.E. Church

I met Scott in ministry school, where I learned of his heart to serve the Lord and others. After graduation, Scott sensed the Lord leading him to return to Southampton, New York, to plant L.I.F.E. Church. Even before attending school, he had faithfully taught Bible studies in his home for more than 40 years, served in children’s and youth ministry, and played drums on the worship team. He also founded and directed RaphaEl Medical Missions, traveling to Zambia, Africa, and Guyana, South America from 2007 to 2020, and has ministered on five continents with Bridge for Peace based in Wading River, New York. His life reflects a long-standing commitment to faithful service, obedience to God’s leading, and a heart for both local and global ministry.

Giuseppe was my roommate during our second year in Bible school, where he was an international student from Italy. During that time, he met Sydnei. They were married the following year and went on to found Quarata Consulting. Their company provides marketing coaching, web design and UX/UI services, PPC and SEM strategy, Google Ads management, and video production and marketing. Giuseppe and Sydnei are trusted friends whose Christian values are deeply rooted in both their personal lives and the way they conduct business, guiding them to operate with integrity, honesty, excellence, and genuine care for the people they serve.
