We want to thank everyone at
Revive church in Fair Haven, Vermont
It was wonderful meeting all of you!

On our free day, the members of revive church took us out sightseeing to see some of the local attractions.

On the last day, they treated us to lunch at the cheesecake factory.

In the end, we all had a great experience

Final Thoughts

This was my first mission trip, and I didn’t know what to expect. I had fears about evangelizing to strangers. While I had shared the gospel with friends, approaching a stranger about Christ and salvation was new and intimidating. I also worried about the skits we were to perform. Overall, I feared the unknown and doubted my abilities. However, all of this changed on the first day.

Pastor Derik Kerber, along with his family and staff at Revive Church, had prepared a path for us. Every day, they provided us with opportunities to assist them and other community organizations. Our leaders, Michelle and Don Patterson, Jon Ward, and Aspen Whitaker, offered us daily guidance and encouragement to step out of our comfort zones and embrace the assignment God had called us to.

During this week, I made new friends and learned a lot about myself. One thought that continues to impact me is this: we walk among the lost, our lost brothers and sisters. They live in a broken world, feeling broken themselves, and they don’t know how much God loves them. That responsibility falls on us. We need to stop shouting the judgment of the Law and start sharing the love of Christ. The only difference between the lost and the found is simply this: we know how much God loves us, and they do not. It is up to us to let them know.

To the Vermont Mission Team,

During a challenging season in my life, you reached out and lifted me up. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish life weren’t so busy, and that we had more time to gather together. Let’s not forget the incredible week we spent in Vermont, and let’s strive to make it happen again someday.
